Advice for the College Sophomore: Transportation

Did you know that your student ID is also your bus pass? Well, it is! With your student ID, you can ride the Fort Collins buses for free!

For students that live off campus, riding the bus can be an extremely daunting task. Students may do all that they possibly can to avoid riding it in fear of going in the completely opposite direction than intended. However, there are also challenges with not riding the bus – such as time, accessibility, and the biggest one of them all, parking availability.

The bus system around Fort Collins is great, and it is one that students should take advantage of. We all know the struggle of getting out of lectures far later than we wanted to, and we need a safe way to get home. The bus is a great way to do so! Not only does it assist with safety and getting to class, but it can also help us tremendously with everyday tasks of running errands, or getting to jobs or appointments. Hopefully, by the end of this article, the confused and scary emotions that can be associated with riding the bus will be a thing of the past!

In order to even begin to understand how to get around town on buses, you have to know what all of the different bus numbers mean. That way, you will be able to better understand those maps that people give students with writing and highlighting all over it. Transfort Routes:
